Our Story
About
Driving is more than a skill — it’s independence, identity, and connection. When health changes, aging, or injury make driving feel uncertain, people deserve clarity, compassion, and expert guidance. That’s where I come in.
I’m Caroline, an occupational therapist and driving rehabilitation specialist dedicated to helping people stay safe, confident, and engaged in the life they want to live. My work blends clinical expertise with a deep respect for each person’s story, strengths, and goals.
Why Occupational Therapy Matters in Driving
Driving is one of the most complex daily activities we perform. It requires physical coordination, cognitive processing, vision, judgment, and emotional readiness. Occupational therapy looks at the whole person — not just a diagnosis — to understand how these abilities come together in real‑world situations.
My OT background allows me to:
Assess how medical or cognitive changes impact functional driving
Break down complex tasks into clear, manageable steps
Identify strengths and areas of risk
Provide practical, individualized recommendations
Support people through sensitive transitions with dignity and honesty
Driving Rehabilitation With Clarity and Care
A driving evaluation isn’t about passing or failing — it’s about understanding. I offer a structured, supportive process that gives individuals and families the information they need to make safe, confident decisions.
My services include:
Clinical assessments of vision, cognition, motor skills, and reaction time
Behind‑the‑wheel evaluations in real traffic environments
Clear, compassionate feedback that prioritizes safety and independence
Recommendations tailored to each person’s abilities, needs, and goals
Whether someone is recovering from injury, navigating a medical diagnosis, or simply seeking reassurance, my goal is to provide answers — not judgment.
My Approach
People come to me during moments of uncertainty. I meet them with warmth, honesty, and a commitment to helping them move forward. Every assessment is grounded in respect, evidence‑based practice, and a belief that independence should always be supported with safety at the center.
Living Life Together
I created Living Life Together because no one should have to navigate these decisions alone. My mission is simple:
To help people stay safe, stay connected, and keep living life on their terms.
